Internal Complaints Committee (ICC)

The Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) is a dedicated body in our institution responsible for addressing and resolving issues related to sexual harassment and discrimination in the workplace. It functions in accordance with the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for students, faculty, and staff.

Objectives of ICC

✔ Preventing Harassment
The ICC actively works towards promoting gender equality and awareness among students and employees, fostering a safe and inclusive atmosphere free from discrimination and sexual harassment.

✔ Redressing Grievances
The committee is responsible for handling complaints related to sexual harassment and discrimination from students, teaching staff, and non-teaching staff, ensuring a fair and just resolution.

✔ Providing Support
The ICC offers counseling and guidance services to complainants while also assisting the institution in maintaining a safe and secure environment for everyone.

✔ Recommending Action
Based on investigations, the ICC recommends appropriate disciplinary action against the guilty party to the college management, ensuring justice and compliance with legal and ethical standards.
