Internal Complaints Committee (ICC)

Under the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition & Redressal) Act, 2013

The Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) is a dedicated body in our institution responsible for
addressing and resolving issues related to sexual harassment and discrimination in the workplace.
It functions in accordance with the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition
and Redressal) Act, 2013, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for students, faculty, and staff.

Objectives of ICC

✔ Preventing Harassment: Promotes gender equality and awareness, ensuring a safe and
inclusive atmosphere free from discrimination and harassment.
✔ Redressing Grievances: Handles complaints fairly and confidentially from students,
teaching staff, and non-teaching staff.
✔ Providing Support: Offers counseling, guidance, and emotional support while helping
maintain a safe campus.
✔ Recommending Action: Based on investigation findings, recommends appropriate
disciplinary action to ensure justice and compliance with legal standards.
